Note: Below is the public schedule of His Holiness the Dalai Lama both in India as well as abroad. Please note that for many of these events, tickets are required in order to gain entrance. People are requested to contact the organizers directly or visit the websites given below for further information on tickets. In general, most of the events in India are free where as the majority of events abroad require paid tickets. For your information, as a long-standing policy His Holiness the Dalai Lama does not accept any fees for his talks. Where tickets need to be purchased, organizers are requested by our office to charge the minimum entrance fee in order to cover their costs only. Please note that the below dates are subject to change.

Mind & Life Dialogue in Brussels, Belgium from September 9 to 11: There will be a two and a half day Mind & Life Dialogue on Power and Care with leading experts in science, economics and religion to be held at the Bozar Center for Fine Arts organized by Mind & Life Europe. Teaching in Strasbourg, France on September 17 & 18: On September 17, His Holiness will give a one-day teaching on Nagarjuna's Commentary on Bodhicitta (jangchup semdrel) and on September 18 morning His Holiness will confer an Avalokiteshvera Initiation (chenresig wang) organized by the Federation of Tibetan Buddhism. His Holiness Expresses Condolences to the People of Taiwan

Rochester, Minnesota, USA, 6 February 2016 - In a letter to Taiwanese President Ma Ying-Jeou, His Holiness the Dalai Lama expressed his sadness on learning of the powerful earthquake that struck Tainan, Taiwan. He conveyed his heartfelt condolences to the families of the deceased and prayers for the well-being of those who were injured or lost their homes. As a mark of his sympathy and solidarity with the people of Taiwan, he is making a token donation towards the relief and rescue work. His Holiness also requested fellow Buddhists to recite The Heart Sutra for the people of Taiwan.
