Note: Below is the public schedule of His Holiness the Dalai Lama both in India as well as abroad. Please note that for many of these events, tickets are required in order to gain entrance. People are requested to contact the organizers directly or visit the websites given below for further information on tickets. In general, most of the events in India are free where as the majority of events abroad require paid tickets. For your information, as a long-standing policy His Holiness the Dalai Lama does not accept any fees for his talks. Where tickets need to be purchased, organizers are requested by our office to charge the minimum entrance fee in order to cover their costs only. Please note that the below dates are subject to change. 

2015
 
Teaching in Dharamsala, HP, India from September 7 to 10: His Holiness will conclude his teaching on Shantideva's A Guide to the Bodhisattva's Way of Life (chodjug) with Chapter 10 and then give teachings on Kamalashila's The Middling Stages of Meditation (gomrim barpa), Chapter 1 of Nagarjuna's The Precious Garland of the Middle Way (uma rinchen trengwa) & Gyalsey Thokme Sangpo's The Thirty-Seven Practices of Bodhisattvas (laklen sodunma) at the request of a group from Asia including Indonesia, Korea, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam at the Main Tibetan Temple.

Public Talk in London, UK on September 19: His Holiness will give a public talk on Compassion - The Foundation of Well-being at The O2 London organized by the Tibet House Trust. Contact website: www.dalailama2015.uk

Teaching in Dharamsala, HP, India from October 1 to 4: His Holiness will give teachings on Aryadeva's Four Hundred Verse Treatise (uma shigyapa) at the request of a group of Taiwanese at the Main Tibetan Temple.

Talk in Salt Lake City, UT, USA from October 17 to 19: His Holiness will speak at the 2015 Parliament of the World’s Religions (PWR) plenary event Reclaiming The Heart of our Humanity: Working Together for a World of Compassion, Peace, Justice, and Sustainability. Public Talk in Salt Lake City, UT, USA on October 18: His Holiness will give a public talk on Compassion and Universal Responsibility organized by the Utah Tibet Foundation in partnership with the University of Utah at the Huntsman Center. Teaching in Boulder, CO, USA on October 21: His Holiness will give a teaching based on Geshe Langri Thangpa's Eight Verses of Training the Mind (lojong tsik gyema) in the morning at the University of Colorado organized by the Tibetan Association of Colorado and the University of Colorado Boulder. Conference in New Delhi, India on November 12 and 13: His Holiness will participate in a 2-day conference on Quantum Physics and Madhyamika Philosophical View organized at Jawaharlal Nehru University.

Teaching in Hunsur, Karnataka, India from December 8 to 12: His Holiness will give preliminary teachings on Tsongkhapa's In Praise of Dependent Origination (tendrel toepa) and Destiny Fulfilled (tokjoe dunlekma) & 7th Dalai Lama's Four Mindfulnesses on the Middle Way View (tatri denpa shiden) on the afternoon of December 8. He will confer the Guhyasamaja Initiation (sangwang dupa wang) on December 9 & 10. He will then given teachings on the Eight Great Tantric Commentaries of Gyudmey Monastery (megyud trichen gya) on December 11 and 12 at Gyudmey Monastery.

Inauguration & Teaching in Bylakuppe, Karnataka, India from December 20 to 23: His Holiness will inaugurate the new Assembly Hall of Tashi Lhunpo Monastery on the morning of December 20. He will then give three days of teachings from December 21 to 23 on Dharmakirti's Commentary on Pramana-samuccaya (tsema namdrel) at Tashi Lhunpo Monastery.

Teaching in Bylakuppe, Karnataka, India from December 24 to 28: His Holiness will continue his teachings on the 18 Great Stages of the Path (Lam Rim) Commentaries at Tashi Lhunpo Monastery at the request of H.E. Kalachakra in Bodhgaya, Bihar, India in January: The planned Kalachakra at the request of the Central Tibetan Administration has been postponed for one year. We regret the inconvenience caused.

Teachings in Dharamsala, H.P., India on February 22: His Holiness will give a short teaching from the Jataka Tales in the morning at the Main Tibetan Temple.
